The movie platform for social and humanitarian films

With this platform we created a space where film makers and the general public can meet. We bring together people wanting to upload humanitarian and social films, videos and photos; people who seek to convey a humanitarian, social or ethical message. At the same time we want to provide a forum for political films as well as political discourse.

There is one language we can all understand. A language that does not rely on the spoken or written word: the language of photos and motion pictures.

Information

„Human Pictures” ist ein europäisches Bürgerfilmportal. Hier können alle Menschen ihre Filme und Fotografien präsentieren, die sich mit sozialen, humanitären, ethischen und integrativen Themen beschäftigen. „Human Pictures” stellt über die Filme, Clips und Fotografien eine Kommunikation zwischen Menschen aller Länder her. Über das Forum werden Kontakte geknüpft, Netzwerke aufgebaut, Themen diskutiert.

Die Präsentation der Filme erfolgt im Flash-Format. Jeder kann einen Film, der ihn interessiert, direkt beim Hersteller in einer guten Qualität (z.B. DVD) bestellen / kaufen. In regelmäßigen Abständen bieten wir „Best Of”- Samples an. „Human Pictures” will ein europäisches Bürgerfilmfestival organisieren und in absehbarer Zukunft mit „Human Pictures- TV” auf Sendung gehen.

Und wir arbeiten an einem „Human Pictures- Award”. Damit soll einmal jährlich ein herausragendes soziales und humanitäres Projekt dadurch geehrt werden, dass wir einen Dokumentarfilm darüber erstellen.
